CTE reorganises for efficiency
05 July 2010
CTE has made some changes to its organisation with the intention of improving customer service and becoming stronger to become more competitive.
Customer service, will be centralised in the Rovereto (TN) plant, which is already equipped with a call centre staffed by engineers, further mobile units will be added, including fully equipped vans intended for on-site service. In addition to direct customer service, CTE is increasing the number of authorised workshops that will serve Northern Italy, replacing the existing service points of Dolo (VE) and S. Giuliano (MI).
Marketing and sales functions will be brought together at the Rovereto headquarters, while the engineering department will be enhanced and located in the Bertinoro (FC) site, where all the design and manufacture operations of the CTE brands will be concentrated (without prejudice to the management and coordination functions which will remain in the headquarters of the Trentino region).
The manufacturing department of Rovereto will, however, be dedicated to the assembly of cranes for lorries carrying the Effer brand (which has been part of CTE group since 2005), freeing resources for the development of new models at the Effer manufacturing site, which has just opened in Minerbio (BO).
Lorenzo Cipriani, President of CTE Group said, "We are confident that, by better reallocating our resources, we will obtain in a short time an increase in competitiveness which will enable us to grow in the market.
"It is precisely in times of difficulty, such as the ones we are living in, that we must question ourselves and not be afraid of change in order to adapt to the new needs of the industry. We wanted to do this, and we will continue to convey our 'Work becomes easy' belief to all of our employees, dealers, customer support centres and ultimately all the industry that allows us to better serve our customers".
The CTE Group has recently secured an important capital increase within CTE SpA and EFFER SPA, the two main operating companies in the Group, for €3.5 million, is which assigned to further strengthen the company's facilities.
