Intercomp in the US is offering custom-made crane scales to complement its current standard range and tension links series.

The company says custom designed top and bottom fittings, headroom loss reduction, wireless communication and multiple crane head systems could all be catered for.

“Application-specific custom crane scales such as high temperature scales for foundry applications and many other special applications are available in capacities up to 500,000 lbs (227 tonnes) and in multiple configurations based on the customer's requirements.”
