At the beginning of the year Palfinger Platforms received an order for 20 Bison TKA 16 truck mounts from Czech company CEZ AG. The order which has now been delivered was generated by Palfinger's Czech sales agent, Kuhn MT sro.

CEZ is a power supply company, created through the privatisation of the former state company České energetické závody. It now operates several electric generation power plants in the Czech Republic, Poland and Bulgaria. CEZ was already a Palfinger crane customer, and bought its first access platforms in 2008: 12 Bison TKA 16, 16 m truck mounts. The usefulness of the units is proven by the follow-up order for 20 new machines. The Bisons are used mainly for servicing, maintenance and repair work as well as other services for securing the electricity supply of industrial customers, companies and private households.

Aftersales service is carried out in the region by Kuhn MT from its new service factory located in the northern part of Budweis: It has over 2600 m2 of workshop space and 900 m2 of office space.
