Data processing made easy

25 April 2008

Thales' GNSS Solutions, which is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Russian or Chinese, is an office-based system that can process GPS, GLONASS and SBAS (Satellite Based Augmentation Systems) survey data.

According to Thales the GNSS focuses on ease-of-use and guides the operator through planning, processing, quality control, reporting, and data exporting. Advanced “blunder detection” and built-in quality analysis tools ensure accurate and reliable output. Loop closures, automatic repeat, observation analysis, automatic control analysis, and least-squares adjustments are all integral components of the system.

Post-processing components give results from any combination of static, rapid static or kinematic data, with the facility to handle both real-time and post-processed data within a single project.

Survey data is presented in graphical and tabular form, which, according to Thales, makes post-processing with GNSS Solutions simple. Any collection of data can be viewed in different forms through simple drag and drop operations. Numerous mapping projections and local coordinate transformations are available so reports can easily be modified to comply with local and national standards. Compatibility with a wide range of formats, including OpenGIS, enables easy data flow to numerous GIS systems.
