Dates for Hillhead 2014 are announced

19 September 2012

The Hillhead organisers have officially announced the dates for the popular Hillhead show, held every two years in Tarmac's Harpur Hill quarry, near Buxton, which is a spa town in Derbyshire, with the highest elevation of any market town in England. Located close to the county boundary with Cheshire to the west and Staffordshire to the south, Buxton is described as "the gateway to the Peak District National Park".

Hillhead 2014 will take place at the height of the British summer from June 24 to June 26, so there no guarantees about the weather conditions visitors to the show are likely to experience. However, come rain or shine, Hillhead always proves a popular draw for the mining, quarrying, crushing/screening and demolition sectors.
