Deadline fast approaches for 2013 Awards

22 May 2013

The closing date for submissions for the 2013 World Demolition Awards of Friday 26 July 2013 is fast approaching. As before, due to the success of the event, now in its fifth year, and the resulting number of entries that are expected, no entries received at the KHL office after that date will put before the judges for assessment. Full details of how to enter are available at or

As before, the judging panel who will determine the final winners, which will be announced during the 2013 World Demolition Summit at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolski in Amsterdam on 31 October, is made up of leading industry figures from around the world.

Full details on these individuals are also available on the website. In line with the cooperative agreement between D&Ri/KHL and the European Demolition Associations, the only new face on the panel results from forthcoming changes of the latter’s office bearers. Outgoing EDA president Giuseppe Panseri steps down and is replaced by incoming vice president William Sinclair, who currently also holds the office of National Federation of Demolition Contractors president.

Should you have any questions concerning the event, whether to do with the entry procedure, the judging process or any other matter, please contact D&Ri’s editor, Lindsay Gale on +44 (0)1892 786210 or by email to
