François Desbriere has taken over as powered access manager at Manitou, replacing previous access manager Christian Lajous who has moved to head up Manitou's pricing department.

Mr Desbriere has worked with Manitou for several years, most recently as area sales manager based in Australia, covering Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia Pacific. He is a qualified engineer with an MBA in international trade.

He said he wanted "to ensure that Manitou lift platforms move even higher in the years to come...in the platform market, there is still a huge amount of work to do in the developing countries. Especially in terms of safety."
