7 rough terrain Versalifts for UAE-1

Time International has been chosen to be the sole supplier of a new line of desert rough terrain pick up mounted platforms.

The seven articulating telescopic Versalift LAT-135-H units have been ordered by Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC), based in  UAE.

Offering a working height of up to 13.5m, unrestricted outreach of 6m and up to 230kg bucket capacity, the vehicles are fitted with dual A-frame outriggers, power outlets in the bucket and an intercom system from the bucket to the cabin. The full hydraulic units are low voltage insulated to voltages of up to 1 kV certified per CE EN280.

The LAT-135-H units are installed on 3.2 tonne all terrain 4x4 Ford Ranger single cab pickups with a 2.2 litre diesel engine with 160 BHP. The vehicles are equipped with three aluminium storage lockers on the flatbed for line tools and equipment.

Having finished the final tests and inspections, the units are now ready for the voyage from Farsø in Northern Denmark to the city of Al Ain in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, where the units will be used primarily for power line and streetlight maintenance.
