Work on Dingli's new factory began with the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone. The new plant in Deqing Linhang Industrial Zone will have the capacity to produce 6000 aerial work platforms a year.

A number of government leaders and distinguished guests attended the ceremony, including Mr Zhang Xiaoqiang, Secretary of the County Committee.

Dingli's chief executive officer, Xu Shugen said Dingli was growing fast and talked about the company development plan and future direction. He said,"Our objective is to establish a modernised aerial working platform production centre combining research and development, manufacturing, sales and service."

The total investment for this project is 321 million Yuan. When the factory is put into production, it is expected to have a production capacity of 6000 units per year, and generate annual sales of 400 million Yuan with a profit of 90 million Yuan.
