The first Doosan DX700LC to be sold in the UK has been modified by Kocurek into a 35 m high reach for Wring Group

Wring Group, based in Bristol, has taken delivery of a Doosan DX700LC supplied by Doosan dealer Kellands (Plant Sales), the first of these 70 tonne machines to be sold in the UK. It has been modified by Kocurek to be used with a refurbished 35 m (115 ft) high reach boom that previously was used on a Hitachi 650 owned by the company.

Kocurek has fitted cab protection, its modular boom joint and additional counterweighting to bring the machine's all up weight in high reach configuration to 85 tonnes, with the machine capable of handling a 2.7 tonne tool at full height.

According to director Dean Wring: "Our continued investment in specialist equipment means we own one of the UK's biggest, most advanced demolition fleets with a complement of over 55 excavators and standard and high reach demolition rigs from 0.75 to 90 tonnes and up to 42 m (138 ft) reach, enabling us to undertake all manner of demolition and dismantling contracts."
