Doosan launches Stage V excavator

New DX57W-7 model features DoosanCONNECT telematics and a 42.5 kW Stage V engine

Doosan has launched its new DX57W-7 Stage V wheeled excavator.

The DX57W-7, which has an operating weight of 5.8t (5,790kg), is equipped with the manufacturer’s 42.5kW D24 Stage V engine and the most recent DoosanCONNECT telematics system as standard.

The manufacturer said the model was designed for “increased comfort, convenience and connectivity”. Inside the cab, the model offers a stereo system with Bluetooth streaming as part of the gauge panel. The position of the machine’s steering column can be moved for improved visibility and its consoles can also be adjusted independently of each other.

Already available for preorder, the DX57W-7 is suitable for applications ranging from normal trenching and groundwork jobs to truck loading and tasks involving moving materials.

Acoording to Doosan, a number of additional extras are also available with the model. These include a new view camera that gives 360-degree views around the machine and an ultrasonic obstacle detection system for added safety.
