Hiroshi Konno, pictured here with translator Yuki Ishizu, was the first Japanese speaker at the World Demolition Summit and his presentation is just one of the 10 available for download

Pdfs of all 10 presentations from this year’s World Demolition Summit are online and available to download – and the process could not be simpler*.

The wide ranging programme for this year’s event – the first to be held in North America – included speakers from both sides of the Atlantic, as well as the World Demolition Summit’s first ever Japanese speaker.

Presentations included US military decommissioning, behaviour based safety, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and projects combining the latest demolition techniques with high recycling rates.

The World Demolition Summit was organised by Demolition & Recycling International magazine in co-operation with the National Demolition Association and with the support of the European Demolition Association. Headline sponsor was Volvo Construction Equipment.

A call for papers for the 2017 World Demolition Summit, taking place in London, United Kingdom on Thursday 2 November, has just been issued. For more details, please contact steve.ducker@khl.com
