• San Diego City Council in the US is developing a policy to reduce C&D waste, which calls on construction and demolition contractors to voluntarily recycle materials. The city, which needs to hit state recycling standards, saw C&D waste increase to more than 30% of the total waste stream at one of its landfill sites.
