UK-based E Corr Plant Hire, which rents a range of equipment, skips and associated machinery, has bought an X-Boot footwear cleaning module from Trime UK.

Trime’s X-Boot recycles 100% of the water it uses

The X-Boot is an onsite footwear washing system that fully recycles the water it uses, so the same water can be recirculated multiple times. The filtration system collects the soil and mud in a removable textile bag that can then be disposed of.

The unit operates on 110V and is designed to collect up to 1,000kg of contaminants, saving more than 20,000 litres of water per week, according to Trime. The system can be positioned onsite using a forklift truck or telehandler, and seven people can use it simultaneously.

Gary Mills, E Corr’s Purchasing Manager, said, “We first spotted the X-Boot during an online search for a foot cleaning system we needed for use on our own premises, here at Elsenham. Mark Taylor from Trime UK came over and demonstrated the X-Boot and we were impressed by its good design and solid build.”
