EDA prepares for DDR Forum & Expo

The DDR Forum & Expo 2017 will be held from Wednesday June 14 to Friday June 16 in Belgium’s Brussels Expo with the support of the European Decontamination Institute, national member associations of the EDA, and some industry institutions.

The European Commission (EC) will chair three plenary sessions, presenting relevant changes in legislation.

Other institutions such as the European Builders Confederation, Construction Product Europe and the Fédération Internationale du Recyclage will also lead conference sessions.

Several well known demolition equipment manufacturers are also exhibiting at the event.

The conference programme focuses on the circular economy, European Union initiatives and legislation, projects, case studies and best practice. There is a total of 34 sessions.

Presentations will take place from 9am to 6pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and until 1pm on Friday.

They include “Construction and demolition waste management protocol” and “Developing a Circular Economy in Europe”, by delegates from the European Commission.
