EIC President

Germany: The European International Contractors (EIC) trade association elected Gian Alfonso Borromeo as its president at its April AGM.

Mr Borromeo, from Italy, is CEO of road concession operator Italstrade and general area manager of Astaldi, Italy's second largest general contractor. He takes over the EIC presidency Karl Rönnberg, of German contractor Hochtief.

EIC is a legally independent association registered in Berlin, which represents European contractors working outside their national borders.
