Eiffage results reflect positive first six months

Eiffage reported sales of € 6,5 billion for the first half of 2008, a year-on-year increase of +11,6%. Second quarter sales reflected a +12,6% increase on the same period in 2007.

Sales growth in France reached € 5,2 billion in the first half of 2008, up +7,5% on the corresponding period in 2007. Acquisitions completed in the second half of 2007, most notably Tchas in the Czech Republic, helped the company to a +36,4% growth in the rest of Europe on the same period one year ago.

In line with a strong first six months performance, Eiffage reported an order book at 1 July 2008 of €10 billion, up +3,7% on the same period last year.

The board of directors will sit to approve the first six month results on 28 August 2008.
