A new support centre has been opened in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic by Powerscreen dealer Powerscreen of Florida. It has established a new company, Powerscreen Caribbean, which will provide support to customers in the region with a full parts inventory, service department and equipment for sale or hire.

Founded by Dennis Grant (centre) in 1984, Powerscreen of Florida supplies customers in Florida, Georgia, the Caribbean and Latin America. Sales to the latter two regions now account for 50% of its revenue, offsetting lower sales in the south-east USA in the tough current economic climate.
