Enter for Job of the Year

Entries are now being accepted for the SC&RA Job of the Year awards that will be presented in April during the Association's annual conference, this year in Phoenix, Arizona in the US.
For the Crane & Rigging Job of the Year award the focus is on ingenuity, hard work and a concern for safety. Winners are selected in three categories: jobs under US$ 150000; between $150000 and $750000; and more than $750000.
The Hauling Job of the Year award stresses shipment routing, planning, physical elements, safety considerations and execution. Winners are selected in three categories: moving; trucking under 160000 pounds, including cargo; and trucking over 160000 pounds, including cargo.
The Golden Achievement award goes to the individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the industry and/or the Association. Only SC&RA members may enter nominations.
Truck Driver of the Year goes to a professional driver who has demonstrated outstanding performance through a deed of heroism, highway courtesy or contribution to highway safety.
Crane & Rigging Safety is awarded to first and second place entrants in five categories, based on the number of man-hours worked in the year. In addition, Safety Improvement awards will be given to all entrants that show an improvement in their incidence rate from the previous year's contest entry.
Fleet Safety is awarded to a motor carrier in five categories, based on mileage. Awards will also be given to entrants with zero recordable accidents and to entrants that can show a reduction in their accident frequency rate for miles travelled compared to their previous year accident rate.
The Million Miler Safety award goes to professional drivers who have accumulated at least one million consecutive miles of safe driving.
