EPW opens new parts distribution center

01 August 2011

Equipment Parts Wholesale (EPW) has opened a new parts distribution center in Louisville, KY. The company also celebrated its 10th anniversary of business on the same day.

The expansion, which helps celebrate the 10-year milestone, was also the best way to offer 80 perent or more of their customers faster transit times, better shipping options and overall the most economical way to buy lift parts, the company said.

"It's no longer a decision if the better priced part is worth waiting for or paying extra for faster delivery," said Kathy Coss with EPW's marketing department. "EPW can offer the best price with fast economic freight. All locations in the United States will receive parts by ground in 2 days for less," though it will take longer for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

"With these economical times, we felt it was necessary to make changes that made it easier for businesses to purchase parts quickly when needed, instead of stocking for long term," said Brian MacFarland, president, Equipment Parts Wholesale. "By being in two places at once, we can seamlessly offer everything the customer needs. The change was a good business decision and a positive way to start off EPW's next decade."
