Etchart named MCG president

Manitowoc Crane Group(MCG) has named its new president and general manager. Eric Etchart took over the role from Glen Tellock who has been promoted to president and CEO of the firm's parent organisation The Manitowoc Company Inc.

Etchart has been with MCG since 1995, most recently serving as executive vice president of the Asia-Pacific region.

Tellock paid tribute to his successor. “Eric brings a deep knowledge of the lifting industry and a passion for our products to his new role. With his experience leading the Asia-Pacific region, and his previous role managing the Potain brand in Italy, his move to group president will be seamless.

“Eric is extremely globally-focused in his approach to business and he will continue the effort we started to make MCG the global leader in lifting solutions,”Tellock continued.
