Euro Decommissioning Solutions rebrands

09 February 2009

Euro Decommissioning Solutions, formerly known as Euro Demolition Services from its establishment in 1994 has launched a rebranding that the company says is intended to reflect its expanding global footprint in the marketplace.

The company, ranked at number 30 in the 2008 D&Ri 100 ranking of the world's largest demolition companies, specialises in high risk sites around the world working on petrochemical, power, brewery and pharmaceutical projects.

Currently the company employees more than 200, and has now established offices in Canada to serve the North American market and another in Turkey to service Central Europe.

Speaking on the rebranding, EDS managing director Darren Palin said: "EDS has evolved greatly since it was established in 1994 and this rebranding reflects the fact that we have the capacity internally to undertake entire large-scale, high risk projects from start to finish, providing a complete package to our worldwide clients.

"The company progressed from its early days of controlled demolition to entire project delivery in North America, the Far East and Europe for some of the world's largest companies. EDS now has four specialist operations of decommissioning, industrial divestments, waste recycling and property, all of which are headed up by the best in the business.

"The company is going from strength to strength and our strategy for the months ahead is to continue utilising our turnkey capabilities to secure high-risk, large-scale contracts that our specialist team can deliver with the professionalism our growing client base has come to expect."
