Europlatform conference programme announced
29 May 2012
The programme for the 6th Europlatform rental conference programme is nearly complete. The theme of this year's event is Success in Access Rentals and features a strong line-up of speakers and topics.
The conference, jointly organised by Access International and IPAF, takes place in Edinburgh, UK, on Thursday 20 September.
This year we have been fortunate enough to secure the recently appointed chief executive officer of Riwal, Norty Turner, to deliver the keynote address.
Mr Turner's speech is entitled Measuring Rental Performance and he will lead out an impressive line up of speakers, including:
■ Kai Schliephake, Managing Director, PartnerLift (from 1st July) - Lessons from the German Access Market
■ Mikael Kämpe, Director of Group Fleet, Ramirent - Total Cost of Ownership: Why is it so important?
■ Patrick Rizzo, Marketing Director, Loxam - Boost Your Business with Social Media.
■ Jesper Rom Knudsen, Head of Direct Sales, Trackunit A/S - Successfully Using Telematics in Rentals
■ Chris Wraith, IPAF Technical Officer - Anti-Entrapment Systems: Assessing the Choices.
Further speakers will shortly be confirmed
There will also be an interactive panel discussion with high-profile industry figures. Chaired by Murray Pollok, Managing Editor, Access International.
The conference is being held in Edinburgh on Thursday 20 September at the Radisson Blu Edinburgh. The traditional pre-conference networking event will be held on Wednesday 19 September at the Scottish Whisky Experience, where delegates can meet for informal discussion while finding out more about whisky production.
Delegates who book early will benefit from discounts: book before 15 July and IPAF members pay just €190 and non members €225 - full prices are €285 and €380 respectively.
Participants can cancel their registrations at no cost until 1 August 2012. In case of cancellation after 1 August 2012, a 50% refund will be made. In case of cancellation after 2 September 2012 or in case of no-show, no refund will be made. Those who have registered can still change delegate names later at no cost.
