Excavator commitment

By Steve Skinner18 November 2008

Hidromek is committing almost all of its engineering resources and research and development processes to completing its excavator range according to marketing director Ahmet Bozkurt.
“Our main goal is to complete the range that starts at 16 tonnes and goes through to over 50 tonnes,” said Mr Bozkurt. “Excavators over 18 tonnes are in demand from countries with oil and gas income and Eastern European countries that are developing infrastructure. We’re broadening our distribution network to present to these markets so that we can achieve similar success from our excavators as we have from our backhoe loaders,” continued Mr Bozkurt.
“We’re also preparing 16 tonne and 36 tonne crawler machines to satisfy the European market upturn when it comes,” said Mr Bozkurt.
