TCA lift has sold a Falcon Spider FS520C to Chonging Jiangbei International Airport in China.

The 52m working height tracked platform will be used to clean and maintain the inside and outside of the busy airport.

Chonging International Airport is the 8th busiest airport in China with close to 36 million passengers moving through it every year. It has an expected annual passenger growth of more than 10%.

Brian Falck Schmidt, sales director at TCA Lift said, “In Chonging Jiangbei International Airport the Falcon Spider solves the maintenance jobs inside the building. It is perfect for such jobs due to the double jib which allows it get into areas where other platforms cannot.

One of the reasons the Falcon was chosen by the airport was for its low pressure allowing it to drive on sensitive floors, including marble and tiles, said Schmidt.

The FS520C is equipped with the new Falcon Service Tool, which allows remote monitoring of the lift. The system offers easy remote trouble shooting and diagnosis, as well as full operating tracking records.
