TCA Lift has become the official supplier of access equipment to the Malaysian royal family. The manufacturer of the Falcon Spider is now supplying access equipment for the maintenance of the Istana Negara, the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the head of state of Malaysia.

"The Falcon Spider FS420C is part of a package solution of access equipment, also including a Bluelift C22/11," said sales manager Brian Falck Schmidt. "The main job for the Falcon Spider FS420C and Bluelift C22 will be to maintain and service the royal palace - Istana Negara at Jalan Duta. We are very proud to be selected as preferred supplier of access equipment and to serve the royal family in Malaysia."

The palace opened in November 2011 and replaced the old Istana Negara in central Kuala Lumpur.

The palace complex has an area of 97.65 hectares, 22 domes, and is split into three main portions: the Formal Component, Royal Component and Administration Component.

Construction began in November 2007 and cost RM800 million (€ 197 million) to build. Designed by architect firm Kumpulan Seni Reka Sdn Bhd, the complex incorporates Islamic and Malay architectural elements.

TCA is a distributor for the Italian manufactured Bluelift in Scandanavia and Asia.
