Fassi showcases new crane
19 November 2013
Italian crane manufacturer Fassi launched a new medium capacity class crane at the 12th Solutrans trade show in Lyon, France, from 19 to 23 November 2013.
A prototype Fassi F165AZ, developed for the French market, will be showcased by Miltra Sas, the exclusive importer of Fassi cranes in France.
The F165AZ, rated at 15 tonne-metres, is in the medium capacity class and has an outreach of 8 metres. The boom telescopes using a single hydraulic cylinder inside the outer boom, a company spokesperson said.
The model on display at the show will be the basic version. Other models, including ones fitted with Danfoss compensated proportional distributor valve block and RCH/RCS radio remote control with a Grab Automatic Shake (GAS) device (software that controls bucket movements while unloading materials), are under development, the manufacturer added.
Production of this model is scheduled to start in the early months of 2014.
