Faymonville acquires Stürzer

11 January 2019

Luxembourg-headquartered specialized transport equipment manufacturer Faymonville Group took over commercial vehicle dealer Stürzer Heavy Trucks on 2 January 2019. It resulted in the creation of Faymonville Trade and Services, headquartered at the former Stürzer site in Landsberg am Lech, southwestern Bavaria, Germany. Faymonville said this will extend its presence in south Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The newly created company will become a hub for sales of specialist vehicles from the Faymonville Group’s Faymonville, Max Trailer, and Cometto brands. Heavy-duty tractor units from other manufacturers will also be available.

Vehicle servicing will also be carried out at the 2,500 square metre workshop in Landsberg am Lech, with vehicle leasing and finance packages available, too, added Faymonville.
