Brian Hornyak, who will give a presentation on behaviour based safety and best practice in demolition, has an education and background is in the area of safety and environmental management.

He has served in various roles dealing with the decontamination, decommissioning, demolition, and remediation of large industrial facilities for Fortune 100 companies.

These include design, permitting, regulatory and contract negotiations, project budgeting, risk screening, and programme management.

Brian has worked in private industry, consulting, and contracting with regards to project planning, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.

His diverse experience has added value to his past employers, as well as his clients, because he is able to look at a project and the associated risks from a variety of angles.
