Heavy lift and transport specialist Mammoet won a regional supplier of choice award at the third annual Finning Canada supplier awards ceremony. Finning Canada is part of Finning International, a major distributor of Caterpillar products and support services.

Mammoet it worked with Finning on transporting fully-assembled Cat 797 haul trucks. The project started at the concept stage and concluded with the successful realisation of the transport of the fully assembled haul trucks, which Mammoet said resulted in improved efficiencies, including time and cost savings, for Finning’s customers.

According to Finning, the nominations were based on the following: “These suppliers can be counted on every time to deliver goods and-or services safely and on time with the ability to respond to market and supply fluctuations. They are willing to work through issues, offer solutions, and go the extra mile in support of Finning’s day-to-day operations.”
