First Hinowa tracked dumper for NY Plant Hire

16 January 2015

UK rental company NY Plant Hire has invested in a new 2.5 tonne capacity Hinowa TraXporter tracked dumper, reporting favourable feedback from its first hire customer.

NY Plant Hire specialises in low ground pressure crawler-mounted machinery for contracts in sensitive areas such as national parks and wildlife trusts.

Featuring a swivel skip that can be operated while the machine is moving, the TraXporter was launched in 2014. It also has a 180° rotating seat and controls, so the operator can always face in the direction of travel, and boasts a top speed of 12km/h.

Robin Cope, owner and founder of NY Plant Hire, said, “We have generally favoured one manufacturer for all our tracked dumpers; however their 2.5 tonne machines have become dated.

“We have tried several other manufacturers over the last couple of years but had not quite found what we wanted.

"The Hinowa TraXporter has addressed most of the concerns that we had with other machines - in particular the build quality and serviceability is excellent. It’s already been out on hire and received very favourable feedback from our customer."
