First Maeda CC985 sold in the UK

Jones Crawler Cranes takes delivery of UK’s first Maeda CC985 crawler crane

Dorset, UK-based crane rental and sales company Jones Crawler Cranes has taken delivery of the first Maeda CC985 crawler crane sold in the UK. The crane has a lifting capacity of 4.9 tonnes and a working height of 16.5 metres. According to Maeda, it has a compact working footprint and near-zero tail swing. The crane also has a programmable moment limiter and a rearview monitor.

“We love everything about the machine and we’re impressed with the build quality. The low emissions make this machine especially useful for us,” commented the owner of Jones Crawler Cranes, Mark Jones.

The machine’s first job is at Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire. It was sold by UK Maeda Mini Cranes distributor Kranlyft.
