Saltec-Torgar won the gold (first prize) innovation award in the category of New Developments in Machinery for its high-rise, building materials transport system.

The machine comprises a specially-designed platform that moves shuttering systems between floors, minimising the use of the tower crane on site. A benefit of the new product is that it mounts either on the ground or can be fixed to the building structure.

Prince Fillipe and Princess Litizia of Spain, visited the show and presented all the innovation awards, pictured are (left) Angel Ibanz, commercial manager of Saltec Torgar, and Santiago Gallego, general manager of Saltec Torgar, with the award.
