A truck mount platform from UK-based Wilson Access fleet helped to put Hull City Council branding in place at the KCOM Stadium – the home of Hull City Football Club and Hull FC Rugby League Club.

AM Signs of Hull, hired a 37m Wumag WT370 to erect a 7m x 3m sign, showing the council’s three crown logo, above the Stadium’s main entrance.

Andy Marshall, managing director of AM Signs, said, “We worked at a height of about 35m, and although the sign looks small in situ, it was large and heavy to handle. We would have really struggled without having the expertise of a Wilson truck mount operator to guide the platform precisely into place. We installed the signage in four stages and it took around six hours to complete.”

The Wilson Access truck mount hired by AM Signs has a maximum working height of 37m and a 28.8m horizontal outreach. It is part of a fleet of 59 Wilson truck and track mounted platforms with working heights from 13m to 57m.
