Former Volvo Rents executive joins Result Group

Former Volvo Rents executive Steve Eldred has joined rental software company Result Group as European projects director.

Mr Eldred had a 12 year career with Volvo Construction Equipment and was chief information officer for the global rental business before leaving the company in January 2009. Since then he has been working as a management consultant and in the UK's National Health Service (NHS).

He worked with Result Group for five years at Volvo Rents as the company implemented Result's software. He will now manage European implementations of Result's rentalresult ERP solution.

Result said in a statement; "Steve has considerable experience in global software project implementations as well as having held the role as senior advisor on sales and customer support within global marketing.

"He brings a wide range of business experience having also held non-executive director and chairman roles within the shipping and ports sector, public healthcare provision and local government."
