Sandvik launched its four breakers at the Veig og Anlegg trade show in Norway

According to Sandvik, its four new Rammer breakers have been developed and designed to satisfy specific customer requirements and extend the range further, building on the success and popularity of previous model. The four new attachments are the 90 kg (198 lb) 155 for 0.8 to 1.8 tonne carriers and 850 kg (1,870 lb) 1322 for 9 to 15 tonne carriers in the company’s Small Breaker range, and the 1,080 kg (2,376 lb) 1655 for 12 to 21 tonne carriers and 1,400 kg (3,080 lb) 2166 for carriers from 16 to 27 tonnes in the Medium Breaker range.

The 155 is offered with a sealed side-plate housing construction that allows mounting using bolted mounting bracket or direct Pin-On mounting to linkage, making it ideally suited to rental fleet operations. Where the 1322 is concerned, a fully sealed flat-top housing encapsulates the field-proven Rammer S29 power cell with CBE operating principle that allows a wide oil flow range and easy installation. The Rammer 1322 also comes complete with a wide tool selection for every application.

The two new medium models feature a heavy duty housing, Ramvalve, Ramdata II, VIDAT tie rods and an in-hammer pressure control valve. For further operational flexibility, these models may be ordered with Ramlube II and SBS (Soft Blow Sensor) or IBP (Idle Blow Protector) as an option.
