France Elévateur has teamed up with French electricity company ERDF International to develop and manufacture insulated booms.

The partnership has resulted in smaller booms that, in turn, can be mounted on lighter and versatile trucks which are also capable of working in the rain, said the manufacturer.

These developments lead Chinese power supplier China Southern Power Grid to visit the France Elévateur factory as part of a training course on live line work; the company was represented by a delegation from its subsidiary Yunnan Power Grid which took part in a factory tour and product demonstrations.

"We were honored to host the delegation of Yunnan Power Grid and look forward for our future collaboration,” said a France Elévateur spokesperson.
