Certex in Scotland is offering a free safety seminar on wire rope slings

Users of wire rope slings can take advantage of a free seminar on the subject in the UK.

Lifting gear distributor Certex UK is hosting the free seminar to introduce users to its new Quic-Sling, claimed as the first wire rope sling on the market to fully conform to the latest harmonised European standard EN 13414-1.

The seminar is on Wednesday 27 October at The Parkway Inn, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, Scotland. Attendees will learn how to get more life from the product with prolonged safe use and pre-use inspection.

Quic-Slings are made at Certex UK's recently opened manufacturing facility in Montrose, Scotland. "By producing our own product we have been able to fully utilise our own industry expertise and understanding of health and safety legislation,' said Davy Young, Certex regional business manager.
