Barin supplied an AB 20/S underbridge inspection unit to German rental company Freker Baumaschinen & Vermietung.

The Italy-based manufacturer said the compact unit has a comprehensive set of features mounted on to a Scania G410 LB 8x2 HNB truck chassis.

As with all Barin's range, the AB 20/S uses one traffic lane only while in operation or transport, allowing traffic flow to continue.

The machine has a bridge barrier clearance of 5.10 m, a sidewalk clearance of 5.25 m, and a horizontal outreach underbridge of 19.0 m. The maximum vertical depth underbridge is 23.20 m. The basket capacity is 280 kg, while the gross vehicle weight is 32 tonnes.

The equipment is fitted with a remote monitoring system enabling Barin to check the electronics from the factory and adjust parameters.
