Fei Xiaodong, Vice General Manager of rental company XCMG Guanglian, will discuss the changing attitudes to rental at China's large state owned contractors.

Newly confirmed speakers for the 4th International Rental Conference (IRC) will address topics including the changing behaviour of China’s state owned contractors, how to build an eCommerce business, and expert advice on growing a developing rental market.

The conference, organised by International Rental News (IRN) and KHL Group, is being held on Monday 21 November in Shanghai, close to the venue for the Bauma China exhibition, which opens the following day on 22 November. See www.khl.com/irc for details.

Fei Xiaodong, Vice General Manager of XCMG Guanglian Machinery Leasing – a rental subsidiary of manufacturer XCMG – will describe how China’s massive state owned contractors are changing their attitudes to equipment rental, and how rental companies can service these important customers.

A senior executive and eCommerce specialist with Saatchi & Saatchi in China, Cyril Drouin, will look at how equipment rental companies can establish an eCommerce businesses and consider the potential impact of popular web messaging services such as WeChat.

Another Chinese-based speaker, Khun Tan, founder and Chief Executive of Guangzhou Liluo Mechanical Equipment Leasing Co Ltd - one of China’s largest aerial platform rental businesses - will consider the key characteristics of a sustainable access rental business in China.

Also providing a speaker will be Hertz Equipment Rental Co, which has a growing business in China. The Hertz speaker will consider strategies for increasing the penetration of the rental business in China.
