Galizia Multis 636 telehandler crane

New from industrial crane manufacturer Galizia at the SAIE 2011 exhibition in Bologna, Italy was the Multis 636 electric crane and telehandler.

In addition to the six tonne lifting capacity from the permanent hook, the machine can accommodate a range of other lifting devices. This includes a 3.5 tonne fork lift that can be raised to 6 metres and a platform, with a height of 8 m. Both are attached to a tool plate at the end of the boom, which features an auto leveling system.

A second hook can also be attached to the plate for lifting at greater outreach. According to Galizia the tools plate is very compact and folds flush with the boom when attachments are not being used.

The vehicle has a front drive AC all electric system, using the same technology as the Galizia F200. The back axle can turn to 180 degrees, meaning the machine can perform a 360 degree turn cycle.
