GAP Group MD double award winner

Iain Anderson, the joint Managing Director of hire equipment and services company Gap Hire solutions, has won two accolades at the Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland Awards.
The event, which recognises outstanding contributions made by Scotland’s business leaders, awarded Anderson the Family Business Director of the Year award and the Glasgow & West of Scotland Regional Director of the Year award.
A panel of industry experts gave out a total of 20 awards across 11 director categories and seven regional categories at an award ceremony in Glasgow, Scotland.
The judges commented: “Iain illustrated well how his extensive experience is shaping his leadership of the GAP Group and he is a leader in his sector, not just of his business. The success of his leadership translates into business growth. Iain has a strong knowledge of his sector and vast experience as a director. This is a successful family business built up over many years, which shows clear evidence of investment in its employees.”
As a Regional Director of the Year award winner, Anderson now qualifies for the UK Director of the Year Awards, which will take place in London in October, 2019.
