The new 40 tonne capacity KC-65720-1 truck crane from URAL Automotive Plant, part of Russia-based GAZ Group.

URAL Automotive Plant, part of commercial vehicle manufacturer GAZ Group, based in Russia, has launched a new 40 tonne capacity truck crane.

The KC-65720-1, was built by GAZ Group's Yurginsk Machine-Building Plant and has a load moment of 150 tonne metres. The crane has a four section telescopic boom with a 28.5 m maximum length and a 8.5 m fly jib.

The machine's URAL-6563 chassis, with a 400 hp engine, was manufactured by GAZ Group's Yaroslavl Motor Plant specifically for the new truck crane. Mass production of the crane is due to get underway shortly, said the company.
