German construction hoist manufacturer Geda has appointed Georg Sailer as service manager.

Mr. Sailer has been working for Geda since 1991, most recently in a quality management role, overseeing product quality as well as external and internal audits. In this position he was responsible for Geda's DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 certification, the introduction of a quality reporting system and manufacturer qualifications.

In his new position as service manager his responsibilities include the organisation and implementation of training courses, technical support, maintenance and repairs and the handling of used equipment.

Mr. Sailer succeeds Michael Beckert who has moved on to new challenges.
