Gehl's solid rubber tire option is now available for its DL series of telehandlers.

Gehl is offering customers a new option for its DL Series and RS Series telehandlers - solid rubber tires. Benefits include extra large tapered lugs for better traction and improved wear life, long-wearing tread compound that resists cutting and chunking, enhanced stability on rugged surfaces and single-aperture holes that provide shock absorption.

The single-aperture tires differ from pneumatic and foam-filled tires, the company said, in that they cannot be punctured, blow-out or go flat. They also last up to four-times longer than other tire options which reduces downtime and increases productivity, the company said.

The solid rubber tires are currently available on Gehl's DL11 and DL12 telehandlers and will soon be available for all the RS and DL Series telehandlers.
