Terex Aerial Work Platforms' Genie brand has joined Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to better connect with its online customers.

"We are continually seeking new ways to tap into our customers and improve our product offerings and services," said Mike Samora, global director of marketing, Terex AWP. "Social media will allow our customers to come together in online communities to discuss and share ideas related to the Genie brand. This presents us with an opportunity to listen to individuals on a more personal level and achieve real-time results."

Terex AWP says the sites will have news, service and product updates, promotional offerings, contests and prizes.
