Get ready for the Showman's Show

14 October 2016

The Showman’s Show outdoor events services exhibition opens its doors in the UK on 19th October, running for two days at the Newbury Showground. The event is expected to attract nearly 5000 visitors and boasts over 340 exhibitors.

Showcasing everything from marquees to chocolate fountains, the exhibition also plays host to many exhibitors of interest to the rental industry.

Genquip’s Groundhog’s self-powered solar office will be on display, for example. The office is powered by two roof mounted solar panels which operate the complete unit. It will power lighting, heating, hot water, laptops, mobile phones, 4G routers, smart TV and office printers, running for around 12 hours with only minimum need for generator back up for around an hour.

Meanwhile, Morris Site Machinery will launch the TL90 iLED - the latest lighting tower in its range, offering rental companies, and the events and TV industry the most up-to-date telemetry options for remote fleet management.

Fitted with a Deep Sea Control Panel, the TL90 iLED provides operators advanced monitoring to include comprehensive fuel management, GPS tracking, engine and alternator displays, remote switch-on and off and instant text or mail alerts.

In addition to its advanced technology the TL90 iLED offers 4 x 300W LED lamp heads whilst the 3- cylinder water cooled Perkins 1500 rpm engine brings operators the latest low emissions technology, ultimate reliability and improved efficiency providing up to 160 hours of uninterrupted operation and 500 hour service intervals.

For its part, GT Trax will have its Power Tracks 40 heavy duty temporary roadway on show. Power Tracks 40 measure 2.4m x 3m x 44mm and are designed for heavy duty traffic. Power Tracks 40 need a lifting device to complete an installation, and the company offers a complete, nationwide, installation service.

Generac Mobile Products, meanwhile, will be showcasing its Cube+ Hybrid and Cube Box lighting towers, both of which have been developed for the outdoor event industry, and pump manufacturer and rental company Selwood will also be at the exhibition, showcasing its bespoke pumping solutions for outdoor events.

These are just a handful of the many innovative companies and products that will be on show - the best way to get more details is to visit yourself. Go to www.showmans-directory.co.uk for ticket details.
