A Heavy Mover transport truck manufactured by Paul Nutzfahrzeuge will be at Bauma 2013 in Germany.

The 3-axle Heavy Mover has a 220 tonne payload and a 250 tonne gross combination weight in semi-trailer and towed-trailer configurations. It has an empty weight of 27 tonnes and is suitable for transporting materials, flatbed trucks and equipment attachments in heavy off-road operations.

It is 3.50 metres wide and a compact 12.30 m long. The design of powertrain components, chassis and the steel cushioned widebody cab originates from the Mercedes-Benz Actros, ensuring a high level of operating comfort, the company said.

The heavy duty vehicle is powered by two Euro-3 and Euro-5 engines – the main being a V8 turbo diesel OM 502 LA with 420 kW (571 hp) or 448 kW (609 hp) at 1,080 min-1 respectively. Traction is provided through the high torque of 2,400 Nm to 3,000 Nm. The truck comes with a fully automatic PowerShift transmission, with 16 speeds, from Mercedes-Benz and a Viab turbo clutch.

The truck had its premiere at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in September 2012.
