German manufacturer of specialized trailers, Goldhofer, has announced it will be showcasing its MPA technology at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover at the end of September.

The MPA axle system was launched at the Bauma 2013 exhibition in Munich. It is now available on all the manufacturer's semi trailer types, low loaders and drop-decks. The first STZ-MPA drop-deck was on show at the Goldhofer Innovation Days event at the Memmingen factory. Goldhofer will present the MPA-K 7 (2+5) semi trailer combination and the new features that go with it at the IAA show.

Stefan Fuchs, Goldhofer CEO, said, “Our customers’ overwhelming response shows that, with this extremely low-maintenance axle system, we have developed the innovation the market has been waiting for.”

Goldhofer has also developed a new gooseneck and front bogies with one, two or three axles. They can be employed in both platform and drop deck combinations. “The modular system means that customers can quickly configure exactly the MPA semi trailer they require to handle their haulage contracts as economically as possible,” Fuchs added.
