Gorman Rupp has launched the international version of its Archy Rental platform at the International Rental Exhibition (IRE), which opened in Maastricht today.

The platform, which initially launched in the Netherlands at the beginning of the year, has a range of 400 pumps available and is said to deliver easier and more efficient pump rental.

It works by asking the user to carry out its 10 step selector tool, which will then narrow down the options and help the user find the right pump.

The new version has been translated into English, although Chris van der Gaag, managing director, Gorman Rupp, said in the future the company would be able to translate the platform into any language via partnerships in selected regions.

Van der Gaag said, “We developed the Achy platform to enable equipment rental companies that are not yet in the pump rental business to have it as an easy add on.

“We created a platform that is easy to use for the end user that allows them to select pumps based on 10 simple steps, reserve it, pick it up or have it delivered to the job site.”

Users can also reserve the requested pump on the website, or book by calling Gorman Rupp directly.
